Engineering Innovation, Inc. Announces Retirement of Dan Scott and Promotion of Becky Scheibelhut to Manager of Customer Service

Lafayette, IN – 9/3/2025 — Engineering Innovation, Inc. (Eii) announces the retirement of longtime Manager of Customer Service, Dan Scott, effective 8/29/2025. Dan has been a valued team member since 2009, helping build Eii’s reputation for excellence in customer support across the mailing and parcel automation industries.

He worked as an Application Engineer at MailCode from 2000 to 2006 and as a Customer Development Engineer at Pitney Bowes from 2006 to 2009. Dan joined Eii in 2009 as a Sorter Program Manager. He became Product Manager in 2013 and was promoted to Manager of Customer Service in 2021, holding that position until his retirement in 2025. At that time, he was surprised by his MailCode colleagues, sharing their favorite memories.

Eii is pleased to announce that Becky Scheibelhut has been promoted to Manager of Customer Service. Becky joined the company in 2023 as a Process Systems Coordinator and quickly advanced through roles, including Manager of Business Processes. Her strong leadership skills and deep operational knowledge made her a natural fit to lead the department.

Becky has more than two decades of experience from the emergency services sector, where she served as an Assistant Director, Training Coordinator, and Lead Supervisor in city and county 911 centers. She holds a degree in Fire Science from Southwestern Michigan College and carries numerous certifications, including Certified Training Officer Instructor (CTO-I), Certified Emergency Telecommunicator Instructor (ETC-I), OSHA Industry Safety and Health, and FEMA/NIMS.
