Our Experience at Parcel Forum ’23

Eii road team recaps their PF23 trip

The logistics and supply chain industry is constantly evolving, driven by technological advancements and the quest for greater efficiency. The Eii Team recently attended Parcel Forum ’23 in Nashville, Tennessee, and had the opportunity to witness firsthand the latest innovations, engage in meaningful conversations, and network with industry experts.

Quality over Quantity

Something we noticed throughout the show was the quality of interactions. While we pride ourselves on having the ‘coolest booth at the show’, our conversations with attendees were exceptional. Interested people from a variety of roles and industries asked specific, knowledgeable questions that allowed our subject matter experts to really dive deep and hit on all the points that make our solutions stand out.  This reinforced the idea that, sometimes, smaller booths can provide more valuable insights and connections than larger, more crowded spaces.

Record Attendance at PF23

PF23 boasted its highest attendance yet, with around 1,800 industry professionals converging on the exhibit hall floor. This impressive turnout is a testament to the growing importance of events like Parcel Forum in the logistics and supply chain community. The diverse range of attendees, from small business owners to industry giants, created a dynamic atmosphere conducive to networking and knowledge sharing.

The Gaylord Opryland Hotel: A Stunning Venue

The choice of venue for PF23 was the breathtaking Gaylord Opryland Hotel. Nestled amid lush gardens and cascading waterfalls, this luxurious resort provided a picturesque backdrop for the event. The spacious and well-designed conference facilities allowed for seamless navigation between sessions and exhibitions. Beyond the event, attendees could explore the hotel’s various dining options, bars, and entertainment venues, making it a holistic experience that extended beyond the conference walls.

A Multifaceted Experience as an Exhibitor and Sponsor

One of the highlights of our time was the opportunity to engage with attendees and vendors in various ways. Our time wasn’t just limited to the booth. We were able to take advantage of our time at the show through interviews, networking sessions, and educational seminars. We had the opportunity to host “Automation Solutions for the Labor Gap” on Tuesday afternoon. Led by CEO, Don Caddy, attendees were able to learn about the current state of labor challenges in the industry and how to begin implementing automation into their warehouses in a customizable, affordable way. In the end, we were able to take questions and engage with our audience more to cover case examples of a time Eii helped automate a company through its specific pain points. Together, this multifaceted approach allowed us to showcase our commitment to not only our sorting solutions but also to sharing knowledge and fostering meaningful connections within the industry.

In conclusion, our experience at Parcel Forum 23 in Nashville was a testament to the return to in-person events following the 2020 shutdown. Attending PF23 was not just a critical networking opportunity but a truly enriching experience. Events like these are essential for professionals in the industry to stay at the forefront of innovation and build lasting connections that drive the industry forward.
